Abstract

One of the most beautiful and artistic uses of mythology in poetry is "recreation or metamorphosis of myth". Powerful and myth-making contemporary poets have by using a different atmosphere in todays poetry by creating old myths and creating new ones. Siavash Kasraei is one of the poets who uses ancient myths and also recreates historical and heroic myths. according to the situation of the society, he has for given his poems a special effect and made them immortal.

The purpose of this research is to analyze and explain the function of metamorphosed myths in a descriptive-analytical way. According to the obtained results, it can be said that Kasrai involvement in myths shows various and Also, the creation and creation of modern myth, the change in the meaning and function of old myths and innovative symbols is one of the main methods of metamorphosis of myths in kasari poems. Adapting myths in as much as possible to the current situation , poets thoughts and goals, and political needs – social should also be considered as one of the most important goals of Kasrai in the metamorphosis of myths. the poet emphasis was more on nation, historical and religious myths and natural symbols, and these myths have been plenty subject to semantic transformation in his poety.
