Explanation of executive contracts in the formation of Ta'ziyeh ritual performance

Abstract

Ta’ziyyah is a ritual performance whose format and content are influenced by deep-rooted religious traditions and has emerged from rituals, mourning ceremonies, and funeral rites throughout history and over time in the form of various types; Ta’ziyyah has a set of performance conventions that have been passed down from generation to generation and have undergone ups and downs over time; the main goal of this research is to explain the conventions of Ta’ziyyah ritual performance in the process of producing this type of ritual performance. This research was developed using a descriptive-analytical method and library and internet resources were used to complete the theoretical foundations; this article attempts to answer the questions of what do performance conventions mean and what are the elements and indicators of Ta’ziyyah ritual performance conventions? In conclusion, it is stated that familiarity and learning of theatrical conventions such as "plot conventions or narrative design and sequence of events in Ta'ziyyah ritual performance", "dramatic conventions in Ta'ziyyah ritual performance", "time conventions in Ta'ziyyah ritual performance", "object conventions in Ta'ziyyah ritual performance", "location and stage design conventions in Ta'ziyyah ritual performance", "mutual communication and active participation of performers with the audience in Ta'ziyyah ritual performance", "clothing and color conventions in Ta'ziyyah ritual performance" and "music and singing conventions in Ta'ziyyah ritual performance" can increase the performers' understanding of the executive capacities of theatrical conventions in various forms of Ta'ziyyah ritual performance.
