Intertextuality theory provides a new perspective in the analysis of textual horizons and investigates the correlation of correspondence and intertextual interrelationship. As one of the foremost theorists of intertextuality theory, Kristeva characterizes the recreation of the previous text in the subsequent text as the outcome of three principles of negation–partial negation, parallel negation and total negation, and detects the author’s subjective approach to the prior text. The allusive device is known as one of the manifestations of intertextual communication in Persian literature, which clearly reveals the recreation of a prior text in a novel text. The poetry of the Revolution and its close relationship with the religion have made it an appropriate stand for benefiting from the allusive device, particularly the allusions to Quranic verses and supplications. Among them are the revolutionary poems of Kashani that can be surveyed via intertextual analysis. Therefore, first, the allusion to verses and supplications in the poet’s revolutionary poems was obtained, compared with the previous text , and the poet’s reconstruction and mental approach were analyzed based on the triple negations. According to the results, there were 116 allusions to Quranic verses and supplications in the poems, which are, in order of frequency, 77 verses related to “partial negation,” 34 verses to “parallel negation,” and 5 verses to “total negation.” Consequently, the poet’s mental approach to Quranic verses and supplications is a surrendering approach and distances itself from creating fundamental changes or transformations in the point of view and narration in the text
